I Have Game. Do You?

I'm going on my 2nd trip to Boradise for this year. Heehee. It's funny -- I've been to Boracay many times but I still get all excited before I go. Weird. I'm going to the island with my officemates (Ryan, Amabs, Leah, & Myles) -- first-timers to Boracay! I will serve as their tour guide. * bow sabay hintay ng bayad * -------------------------- So I just got my Purploony (my psp slim named after a PSXer admin at lavander kasi kulay ng psp ko ), and ahlavet!!! I just added new games and bought all kinds of accessories for it: a silicon case, a travel bag, a polycarbonate case which can also serve as a stand. I stopped myself from buying the earphones because I just bought 2 in-ear earphones for my iPod which go great with the psp and the tv-out cables since I had no use for it really. What I also wanted to get were speakers for purploony but the stores I visited still do not have slim-compatible speakers so I guess I'll just have to wait for those. ---------------...

Yes, it's a Saturday night (well, officially it is Sunday) and, I am at home . My brother actually asked me if I wasn't going out... and he asked me this as if I was sick. Hehe. It's one of those Saturday nights which I'd like to spend inside the confines of my room, reading a good book. I had to satiate my need for some quiet time. While looking for a good book find in last year's Powerbooks Warehouse Sale, I chanced upon Eragon, Book One by Christopher Paolini . Oh, I've seen it before on one of my travails to NBS but my heart wasn't really set on purchasing it. I loved the cover though, and the dragon, well, all things mythological and legend hold a special place in my heart. But on those travails, I had other books I wanted to buy and read. So the Shopaholic series and The Life of Pi by Yann Martel had me pre-occupied. It was Tuesday. GA. Did nothing for half the shift. Pumasok lang kami sa office para mag-browse, kumain, mag-browse ulit, at uminom ng alak. Hell, yeah . Uploaded the pics in Multiply. I'd like to post here that Paolo Coelho did not write the original piece but only adapted it. I came across this essay, as you may call it, in my email. I read through it once and knew that it was perfect. For me. I'm closing a cycle in my life. And I'm opening up a whole new chapter. A clean slate. Tabula Rasa. Just got home. Watched National Treasure in G4 with Marco C., Alvin and Bryan. Good thing Bryan texted me, I really wanted to go out and not stay at home. Thank God for friends like them :D After the movie, we ate at Hen Lin sa Select going to the Fort. Kwentuhan about what has been happening the past week, then they took me home. It was a good movie. Mahilig kasi ako sa mga ganung type ng movie, about facts, history, legends...you get the picture. That's why I can't wait for 'The Da Vinci Code' to be shown. Tom Hanks will play Robert Langdon. Tom Hanks...hhhmmmm. I was thinking of Liam Neeson or Ralph Fiennes for the role of Robert Langdon. I just couldn't imagine Tom Hanks. But, hey, Hanks is a good actor, one of the finest, imho. I'm sure he can pull this one off. I don't know how he's gonna do it, but sabi nga ng sister ko, naging Forrest Gump nga siya eh, Robert Langdon pa. Hehehehe.
